Before starting the QQversioner installation process please ensure the followings for the client side:
1. Microsoft Windows (VISTA/XP/Server2003/Server2008)
2. QlikView desktop is installed (any build of 8.5, for the moment). Minimum level for QlikView is Professional
3. Administrator access on local machine, during installation and licensing phases. After installation read-write rights are required for the folders where QQversioner is installed
4. Ports 2401 and 2402 opened if local firewall is active
For installing the CVS repository, the followings are required:
1. Microsoft Windows (VISTA/XP/Server2003/Server2008), server recommended
2. Administrator access on local machine for the installation phase
3. Ports 2401 and 2402 opened if local firewall is active
4. All the future users of the repository have to be defined or allowed on the server operating system and have read[-write] access to the repository folders.
For using over the internet without VPN, the ports 2401 and 2402 have to be opened also in the networks firewalls.
